CLUB HISTORY
The Present (01/01/06)

Barrhill Lads changed their club name to Barrhill Junior Football Club in the year of 2002, the reason for this was that Barrhill were getting more and more girls interested in playing football, and actually playing in teams along side the boys.

Barrhill JFC currently provides football training oppertunities for over four hundred children between the ages of five and eighteen, both male and female, we currently have seventeen teams running at this moment in time.

Organisation (19/06/06)

Barrhill JFC is a non-profit making organisation, all fees collected are put back into Barrhill JFC for the benefit of the children.

All our Managers have been CRB checked(Criminal Records Bureau) and currently hold child protection,First Aid and Coaching Certificates at various levels.

The Future (20/06/06)

Barrhill JFC will continue to grow.The intension is to continue entering successive age groups into the respective leagues.
We have now moved into our new clubhouse which was completed in March 2005, which was provided to us by Salford City Council.

The Past (22/06/06)

Barrhill Lads Football Club was established in 1944 by our Life President Alan Chesters, as a result of the increasing demand for junior football opportunities in the salford area.

History (25/01/08)

Barrhill JFC was founded way back in 1944,and has continued through to this present day. Barrhill JFC caters for all children whatever their standard of football skills are, we currently have over 350 members(children & adults) registered with our club which includes girls and boys of all ages.Barrhill has recently had a new clubhouse built with new changing facilities, clubroom, kitchen and carpark.



Barrhill JFC Club Rules.


Barrhill JFC is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its members.

The club believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with Barrhill JFC should, at all times show, respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others. Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with the Club Chairman or Club Secretary.


As a member of Barrhill JFC you are expected to abide by the following junior club rules:


All members must play within the rules and respect officals and their decisions.

All members must respect opponents.

Members should keep to the agreed timings for training and competitions or inform their coach or team manager if they are going to be late.

Members must wear suitable kit-Football boots/Trainers,shin pads and appropriate clothing for training and match sessions, as agreed with the Coach/Team Manager.

Members must pay any fees for training or events promptly.

Barrhill has a none tolerance of Drugs, or Alcohol or smoking abuse by Barrhill Members registered with the club.

On a final note.............

Football is a game to be played by people of all ablities.

participation and enjoyment are paramount.
Winning is a bonus.

We want our children (and parents) to enjoy their time at Barrhill Football Club.
