barrhill Diamonds under 8's 2006/2007 most of the players have moved up from under 7's they finished well last season and are ready for this season.
The season has started we are 8 games into it and are going well, we are currently 5th in the league.
We made it through to the Cup Final after a thrilling penalty shoot out in the Semis only to be beaten 4-2 in the final Well done to all the team a great season and runners up in the Challange Cup

Played a few pre season friendlys the teams looking good got invited to Manchester FA as part of the Charter Standard played a friendly against Pendlebury United winning 4-0 all the team met Peter Shilton and each player was awarded a FA fair play medal on the day.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
